Lisa Garman SFG, ACE PT

Lisa Garman is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. She has advanced certifications as a StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor, TRX Instructor, Group Fitness Instructor, and a Certified Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach.
Lisa is also fully certified in Levels 1 & 2 of the Functional Movement Screen. She teaches group classes at Peak Performance Care, as well as individual sessions specifically tailored to each client.

Lisa develops a bond with each of her clients to ensure a productive and genuine experience, which in turn helps clients reach their goals more effectively. By working with clients to build strength and stability, Lisa can identify many issues before they become injuries. Furthermore, it allows her to utilize her advanced training to properly identify potential problems and refer them to Ellora for physical therapy treatment if necessary.

 

Lisa starts each individual session with a Functional Movement Screen and evaluation. This identifies potential problem areas and helps Lisa to properly plan an individualized workout routine to maximize outcome and to prevent injury. No single approach works equally well for everyone, so Lisa truly customizes every training session to each client.

 

As a Precision Nutrition Coach, Lisa can help guide each client through a online habit-based program.  Clients will receive daily lessons, habits and nutrition information that will help them view eating habits differently.  As a coach Lisa will be there to support each client through the program and keep them accountable and present through their journey.  One of the greatest details that Lisa will offer in her Nutrition Program is that it will not be a diet!  No guilt, no restrictions, no more giving up entire food groups!  Learn how to enjoy life while learning some healthy nutrition habits with lifelong success.

 

Lisa believes very strongly in continuing education and attends multiple workshops, certifications, lectures and seminars each year to stay on top of the fitness industry standards. She believes that although the industry changes rapidly, the core values to learn and teach clients how to move and feel better stay the same. Lisa believes that if she can teach clients how to move in their everyday activities to the best of their ability, they can then live life to the fullest each and every day.

 

Lisa leads an active lifestyle as a mother of two children, and she focuses on stability, nutrition, and structure at home as well as in her business. She loves hiking, skiing, and otherwise enjoying time outside with her family. She is happy to bring her active lifestyle to her clients, classes, and individual training programs.
